The Star of India lies docked near the San Diego cruise ship port. Its an amazing boat, beautifully lit in the night. A long exposure helped capture the grandeur of the boat. Canon EOS 300d - 18-55mm - ISO100 - 30" - f/22

Two weeks back we went whale
watching.Unfortunately fog ruined it for us, we didnt get a good look
at the whales.The ride turned into a crawl in the fog with the ship
horn going every minute ( the vessel was aply named Horn-Blower :D) .
Lots of sail-boats got lost in the fog, and were looking upto us to get
back to the shore. These two sailboats looked amazing in the fog. too
bad shooting in the fog was something i still had to master :(. anyway
here is my best shot that day.

Shot this at a cave near the ocean near Half Moon Bay, CA. Once a friend asked me "what do you feel when you look at the ocean" ? I replied "its infinitely powerful,I feel like I'd want to conquer it". Later she told me that the Ocean is analogous to life, and thats why she asked me that question. Here in this photo man and life are looking face to face.

I shot this picture near the San Diego port, on one beautiful sunset. Its actually an abstract tree placed near the ocean by the City of San Diego for improving the landscape. With the great color gradient of the sky in the background, the tree looked to me like a girl awaiting her sailor's arrival with hope at the port. This picture made it to the 1st page in
