San Diego Firestorm 2003
A huge wild fire encroached San Diego from the east , south east , and north east sides. about six fires crossed 15 , 52 and 163 and caused massive damage. we kept watching TV all day, about 100,000 acres burned down already. about 170 homes burned down. lotsa homes were evacuated. The day started with Ramki waking me up to photograph the really beautiful sunlight outside ( which we learnt was beacause of the smoke making the sun red ). whole houses burn down , it was as if nature was cleansing all the bad things man did . I couldnt imagine the feelings of people losing their homes to fire.(Pics Inside)
